The International Review of Contemporary Law, IADL’s digital legal journal, released a special issue for International Women’s Day 2022, highlighting the case of Aysel Tugluk, Kurdish politician and human rights lawyer imprisoned in Turkey. The special issue also remembers Gazibe Gezer, a Kurdish prisoner in Turkey found dead in her isolation cell after revealing the physical and sexual abuse to which she was subjected.
Edited by Evelyn Dürmayer, the special collection is dedicated to the memory of these three poets and the ongoing struggle for our rights.
